Xiaomi Power bank set a standard in the Power bank market with its build quality and reliability which has got its share of competitors, with the power bank becoming a necessity, the older variants having support only for micro USB is making a lot of people shy away from the Mi power banks for ones which support USB Type C. So Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Mi Powerbank Pro with 10000mAh capacity and supporting USB Type C which is replacing micro USB slowly in every smartphone.
The unique feature of the Mi power bank Pro is not just the Type-C port support but it is 42% thinner and it is almost the size of the 5000mAh variant. It comes with smart feature to detect the devices with fast charging option and the charging time will be reduced by almost 25%.
With the Xiaomi Mi Power bank Pro users can now charge their accessories as well which were earlier not supported like the Mi Band and Mi Bluetooth Earphone. To help in charging these small voltage devices, you have to double tap on the power button which will switch the mode. You can charge the 10000 mAh power bank in just 6 hours using a 5V/2A input. The company is giving a 18W ultra fast charger with it which is said to charge the device 40% faster and reduces the charging time to just 3.5 hours.
The company mentioned that the Mi Note can be charged 2.5 times and the iPhone 6 can be charged 4 times whereas the iPad mini can be charged 1.5 times with a fully charged Xiaomi Mi power bank Pro. It comes with 9 layers of circuit protection along with USB smart-control and charging/discharging chips to stabilize discharging voltage to give up to 93% conversion rate.
The Xiaomi Mi Power bank Pro has been priced at ￥149 or $22 approximately. The details about the sale and availability will be updated after official announcement is made.
