Reliance Jio Digital Services Pvt. Ltd. has released an update for the MyJio app, which has gained a popularity to reach the no. 1 position in the top charts of the Play Store. The update clearly mentions that now you can get a Jio 4G SIM for any smartphone that supports 4G.
It is the version 3.2.11 of My Jio app that is now available on the Google Play store. Here’s the change log for the same.

Earlier, it was all about the Preview Offer and you could get a Jio SIM only if you are using a smartphone from some particular brands that had partnered with Reliance for the same. Now, the Welcome Offer is open and you can avail it for any phone with the only requirement that it has to have 4G connectivity.
The latest MyJio app update makes it possible to generate the offer code on the app, irrespective of the brand that it is from. Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc. are a couple of brands that Reliance still doesn’t officially show, but now, that is not necessary at all.
Giving a SIM card to the users is going to another concern as some of the Reliance Digital stores are not offering the SIM cards to anyone and are still having the set list of partner companies and devices. But you could show them the app update which officially states that you can get a Jio 4G SIM for any 4G device.
If you are facing an issue while generating the code on your My Jio app even on the latest version, it is better to visit the Reliance Digital, Digital Xpress or the DX Mini store.
