Samsung Z2 FAQ, Pros and Cons

For once, Samsung is playing it hard on the competitors by pricing a phone at a price point where first-time smartphone users are looking for a device, and having the brand value, it should easily become the smartphone choice for many. The Z2, though, does not run Android OS and that could become one factor in the mind of people to choose against the device. On the other side, Samsung has partnered with Reliance to offer the Jio 4G SIM card with Preview Offer.

While some might argue that the phone seems low on power, the price is totally justified because you are at least assured of a decent after sales service when compared to the other brands around.

If you have any doubt regarding the phone, here is a quick FAQ round we have done for you to know about the Samsung Z2 and the Jio Preview Offer that is coming bundled along with it.

Samsung hasn’t mentioned about the chipset used in the phone. Which one is it?

The chipset used isn’t really important for a phone priced around Rs. 4000-5000 but if you are still concerned, it is a Spreadtrum one, with four cores and the clock speed of 1.5GHz. Spreadtrum chipsets in the budget range have been decent enough but we can’t vouch for that easily because it is not Android OS running here.

Which OS does the Samsung Z2 run then?

It is the Tizen OS, the operating system for smartphones from Samsung that we see running on the Z2. It is quite different from the Android OS but can still run Android apps.

What are the pre-installed apps in the Z2 smartphone?

Although the internal storage might be used a bit, these are some essential apps that are coming pre-installed in the phone. They include Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, HotStar, Weather, Here Maps, Asphalt Nitro, Danger Dash, Quickr, RedBus, Cricbuzz, NewsHunt, and Indiatimes.
