OnePlus 2 is a great device, one of the best for its price. But the issue has always been about its availability, where the users keep looking out for invites to purchase the phone. OnePlus had promised a better invite system, but didn’t quite get it right this time as well.
To help users get a phone without all this invite hassle, the company is going to put up the OnePlus 2 for open sale, for one hour time.
On October 12, OnePlus and Amazon India will be opening up the sale of the OnePlus 2 for an entire hour from 12:00 to 1 PM sans “invites”. You read that right – NO INVITES needed. Just go on ahead and buy one!
There will be no maximum number of devices available, so during that hour, anyone can purchase a OnePlus 2 and they won’t need that invite code to get one. Earlier to this, OnePlus India had pushed out about 30000 invites at once, after making the potential buyers waiting for days, but that might have to also do with the importing of units from China to India.
