Sony to fix Xperia Z5 compact touchscreen issue through software update

Users of Sony Xperia Z5 Compact were complaining of touchscreen issues which was very specific to the white color variant. Sony has acknowledged the problem and is going to send a software update to fix this issue starting from week 44 which is from October 26th.

The issue was with the touchscreen responsiveness which seemed more like a hardware issue than a software one, but Sony has confirmed that it is a bug which is to be blamed for the issue. This is hard to believe as the issue is specific to the White variants of the Sony Xperia Z5 compact, and the company might have found a way around the problem.
