Gionee’s Pioneer P2M doesn’t come as a part of the Marathon series from the company, which is known for the huge battery capacity, but still for the price asked, the smartphone comes packed with a 3000 mAh battery, and for the little ask from the processor and display, the phone boasts a long battery life.
The 4-inch WVGA display doesn’t put any much load on the battery, and the processor in the phone is a Mediatek MT6580M along with 1GB of RAM, and for the price of Rs. 7000, this phone has one of the highest capacity batteries. It feels solid, though quite small in this world of large screen devices, and there is a removable back cover under which the large battery can be removed.
Box package of Gionee Pioneer P2M – It contains the phone, travel adapter, MicroUSB cable, a screen guard, a TPU rubber case, warranty card, user manual, and a headphone.
This is the Android 5.1 OS based Amigo 3.0 OS that runs in the Pioneer P2M. The phone has a plastic back, and the physical buttons are located on the right of the device, while the MicroUSB port, and microphone are located in the bottom. A 3.5mm headset jack occupies a place on the top of the device.
While there was no lags or stutter while using the device for some time, there might be some better devices in the price range when it comes to performance. But the P2M is capable of showing itself as better with the battery life.
