Infinix has launched the Hot S3 smartphone with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera, while also including the 18:9 display that was needed to compete with the phones in the similar price range, after the Infinix Zero 5 with the 6-inch display earlier came with the standard 16:9 display. The Infinix Hot S3 has a 5.65-inch Full View display, and the phone is launched exclusively on Flipkart.
The Hot S3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, an octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 1.4GHz, and along with that is 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage (there is another variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage). The device comes with a dedicated MicroSD card slot for the storage expansion, and there is XOS interface running based on Android 8.0 Oreo OS. The company has mentioned that there will be one full Android version update guaranteed, so the Android P update can be expected later this year.
The Infinix Hot S3 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with the Dual LED flash and there is a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with the flash support for selfies in low light. It is the Sony IMX 376 sensor, and there is 82-degree field of view with the camera and it has the F/2.0 aperture. There is a fingerprint sensor located on the back of the phone and a 4000 mAh battery powers the device, with the charging supported at 5V/2A. There is MicroUSB connectivity on the device and the connectivity options included are 4G with VolTE, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
The Infinix Hot S3 keeps itself under the Rs. 10000 price range and is launched at Rs. 8999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs. 10999 for the 4GB RAM variant. The phone comes in Sandstone Black and Brush Gold options.
