OnePlus 2 gets permanent price cut for both variants starting at Rs. 20999

OnePlus has cut down the prices of their flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 2 in India for both variants. The OnePlus 2 is now priced at Rs. 20,999 for the 16GB variant and the 64GB variant is priced at Rs. 22,999 after the official price drop. The last years flagship is growing old in terms of specifications with the huge number of smartphones being dumped into the market by many companies. Being tagged a flagship killer surely sets the bar high.

Commenting on the Price cut, the company said, “Let’s just say that thanks to both timing and scale, our operations have sized up sufficiently propelling us to offer our flagship offering as an even better proposition for your connectivity needs.” The main intention behind the price cut seems to be the launch of Mi 5 in the near future. With this price cut they want to be in the competition till the OnePlus 3 is all to enter the market rumored around June later this year.

OnePlus 2 price cut in India

OnePlus 2 has some solid specifications making it one of the most desirable smartphones in its price range and the price cut makes the deal even sweeter. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD display powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and available in two variants of 16GB and 64GB internal storage options. It comes with a Fingerprint sensor along with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. It has a USB Type-C port to help in faster charging and faster data transfer. The discounted OnePlus 2 16GB and 64GB variants are exclusively available on Amazon India.
