Samsung has launched a new 4G device in India last week, the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G, which is available on the official Samsung India eStore from last week. The device was announced back in February but is finally available for sale now in the Indian market. The Galaxy grand Prime 4G comes with a 5-inch Quad HD display and supports Dual SIM 4G LTE.
Coming to the specifications, the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G sports a 5-inch qHD display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution and the device is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded to 64GB using microSD card. It runs Android Lollipop 5.0 OS. The Galaxy Grand Prime 4G has a 8MP rear camera with LED flash, and it is capable of 1080p video recording, and on the front is a 5MP camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens.

The Galaxy Grand Prime measures 144.8 x 72.1 x 8.6mm in dimensions and weighs in at 156 grams. It has Dual SIM option which supports 4G LTE connectivity with support for bands FDD-LTE B1(2100),B3(1800),B5(850),B8(900),B20(800) and TDD-LTE : B40(2300), Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS+GLONASS, NFC. It is powered by 2600 mAh battery.
Galaxy Grand Prime 4G is available on Samsung India eStore from last week, with the color choices of white, grey and gold. The pricing of the device is set at Rs. 11,100. Samsung has released this as a budget 4G smart phone but looking at the competition in this range, there are many more devices which are equipped with far better specifications.
