iBall Slide Imprint 4G with STQC certified fingerprint scanner launched in India

iBall has launched a new product in their tablet PC range, the iBall Slide Imprint 4G, in India. The new tablet comes with an STQC certified fingerprint scanner which can be used for Aadhaar verification. The device aims to provide ease of use and portability for various segments such as banks, government offices, RTOs, Education, Sales Automation and B2B.

The Imprint 4G sports a 7-inch IPS LCD screen which has a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. Powering the tablet is a quad-core ARM Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. It comes with either 1 GB or 2 GB RAM and 8 GB or 16 GB storage. The storage can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card. The tablet runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

As for the cameras, the Imprint 4G comes with a 5 MP camera on both the rear and the front with an LED flash.

For connectivity, the Dual Sim tablet has support for 4G VoLTE, dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and A-GPS. The Imprint 4G has plenty of ports as well, which includes a microUSB port, a full-size USB port, a micro HDMI port and an optional LAN port. There’s a DC port for charging the tablet.

The Imprint 4G comes with a multi-language keyboard containing up to 22 regional languages as well as 22 regional system languages, allowing users to operate the tablet in their desired language.

The battery underneath is a massive 5000 mAh unit. The tablet has a rugged build and also comes with an optional STQC certified Iris Scanner. Although the device comes with a fingerprint scanner, it cannot be used for unlocking the tablet.

Pricing and Availability of iBall Slide Imprint 4G

The iBall Slide Imprint 4G comes in black color. The iBall Slide Imprint 4G with the fingerprint scanner is available at price of Rs. 18,999. There’s also a variant of the tablet without the fingerprint scanner, which is priced at Rs. 11,999.
