“Airtel Postpaid Promise” – What’s being offered to Postpaid customers?

In order to make the customer experience better, Airtel India has introduced Project Next and under that, the telecom has started a Postpaid Promise program under which there will be a few offerings to the postpaid subscribers and a couple of them are very important.

Data rollover for Postpaid subscribers

With this, your unused data will be added back next month. So in case you have 2GB data left from previous month and your plan has 5GB data monthly, you will be having 7GB data in total for this month. You can continue enjoying data roll over every month. Data roll over is applicable on all data boosters/surprise/new activation benefits/retention benefits.

If you also have a child number in your family plan, this rolled over data can be shared with those child numbers.

One Family. One Plan.

Get one postpaid plan for the whole family and save up to 20% on mobile bills. If you are on MyPlan, you will be charged Rs. 199/year for each family member. Rs. 199 will be collected upfront in the first bill post addition of your family member to your plan. With myplan, the family members will be able to share calls & data from a single family pool.

Mobile damage repair expense coverage

Under the Airtel Secure service, any Airtel subscriber can join the plan and get help in covering the expenses for any repair against Accidental/Liquid damage. The Airtel Secure plan is available for smartphones from these brands: Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, HTC, Sony, Google, Micromax, Xolo, Lenovo, Motorola, Asus, LETV, Nokia, Microsoft, OnePlus, Meizu and Gionee.

Free international roaming calls

International roaming is where you would usually have to shell out over a hundred rupees for a minute of call to your home country. With the Airtel postpaid plans, some of them offer free unlimited incoming calls on International roaming. For plans like Rs. 649 per month, you get unlimited incoming calls, free 500MB data, free 100 minutes of local and home-country calls, and 100 free SMS. There are better offerings for bigger plans as well.

Free calls on national roaming

For plans starting from Rs. 649 per month, all the calls, both incoming and outgoing will be free of cost during national roaming for the postpaid subscribers. While Airtel has recently announced that all the numbers will be getting free incoming calls on roaming, the postpaid subscribers with the higher plans will be getting the outgoing call benefit.

Airtel TV for free to postpaid users

Content from Eros Now, HOOQ, Sony LIV, YouTube & Dailymotion, and with support for Chromecast streaming, Airtel TV app and its subscription is available for the Postpaid users.

But with all that, we always know that there will be some T&C that you might want to always check before you opt with the postpaid plans.
