OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro with Snapdragon 855 officially launched in India

OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro globally, with the phones being powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform, and the OnePlus 7 Pro entered the premium flagship range.

The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with the 6.67″ QHD+ Curved Panel and it is the Fluid AMOLED display with the 90 Hz refresh rate, and the phone has the automatic switching between Full HD+ and QHD+ resolutions, and even the refresh rate can be switched between 60Hz and 90Hz, and both of these are for saving battery whenever there is no need for a higher resolution or refresh rate. The phone also supports HDR10+.

The phone is powered by the latest flagship processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform, and there are multiple variants of the phone, starting from 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, going up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage, with that being UFS 3.0 storage. The camera combination on the OnePlus 7 Pro includes a triple camera combination, with the primary 48-megapixel camera with the F/1.6 aperture and OIS support, and the secondary camera is a 16-megapixel one with the wide-angle camera, and the third one is an 8-megapixel F/2.2 camera having the telephoto lens and even this one has the OIS support. On the front of the OnePlus 7 Pro is a pop-up 16-megapixel selfie camera.

OnePlus 7 Pro About

There is a 4000 mAh battery powering the device and it has the support for 30W Warp charge for the fast charging. For security, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner, and also the Face unlock feature that will use the front camera to pop up and recognize the face and unlock the phone.

The OnePlus 7 on the other side has the same Snapdragon 855 processor, UFS 3.0 storage, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, RAM boost, new Screen Unlock technology, UltraShot engine, and there is a Dual-lens camera combination with the Sony IMX 586 48MP camera having an F/1.7 aperture and the support of OIS and EIS, and a secondary 5MP camera with the F/2.4 aperture for depth sensing.

The display is smaller on the OnePlus 7, with a 6.41-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display and it is similar to the OnePlus 6T with that notch on the top, housing the selfie camera. The battery is, again, the same as what it was on the OnePlus 6T, i.e. 3700 mAh battery. The phone takes advantage of the in-display fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock for the security. The phone has two variants, one with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and other one with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
