Tecno Camon I with 5.65-inch Full View display launched in India

Tecno Mobile has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, the Tecno Camon I that comes with the price tag of Rs. 8990. The smartphone comes with the 5.65-inch Full View display that the company likes to call the infinity display and while the device has the Corning Gorilla Glass protection, the version number is not specified. The display resolution is 720 x 1440 pixels.

The Tecno Camon I comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, and the support for MicroSD card helps in the storage expansion. The phone runs Android Nougat OS and it is a customized UI offered here, named the HIOS that comes with a few pre-installed bloatware and special features including Eye Care mode, Micro Intelligence features like Quick Start, double click to broadcast, Music gesture, Flip mute, three-finger screenshot, and Cover silence.

As for the cameras, the device has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, both assisted with a flash light. The front camera has F/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide angle lens, and a 5P camera setup.

There’s a fingerprint sensor given on the back of the phone that helps not just unlock the phone but also helps in capturing pictures and also receive calls, and the Tecno Camon I comes powered with a 3050 mAh battery. The phone supports dual-SIM connectivity and there is 4G with VoLTE support, Bluetooth, and GPS.

The device is priced at Rs. 8999 and the color options include Midnight Black, Champagne Gold, and City Blue. The box package comes with the transparent rubber case.

Before this, there was also the Tecno i3 available for Rs. 7990 with a 5-inch display, while the Tecno i5 was available with the 4000 mAh battery and the Tecno i7 was the best of the lot.
