Vivo V15 Pro launched in India with triple-rear camera, pop-up selfie camera

Vivo India has officially launched its new smartphone, the Vivo V15 Pro that comes with a triple-rear camera combination and the in-display fingerprint scanner on the front. The V15 Pro is the successor to the V11 Pro and it takes quite a few features from the best flagship Vivo Nex.

The Vivo V15 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch Ultra FullView display with the screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and it is a Super AMOLED display with no notch on the top, as the company has included a pop-up selfie camera. There is a 2.5D glass on the top of the display, and the display also incorporates the in-display fingerprint scanner for the security.

Internally, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor clocking at 2.0 GHz, and there is 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, and there is also a MicroSD card slot for the storage expansion. The Snapdragon 675 comes with the 4th gen. Kryo CPU and 6th gen. Adreno GPU, i.e. Adreno 612 GPU for the graphics processing. The phone runs Android 9.0 Pie based FunTouch OS 5.0 interface.

One of the major highlights of the V15 Pro is the camera combination. The device has a triple camera setup on the back, with the 48MP camera being the primary one, and there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle F/2.4 camera alongside a 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera with the F/2.4 aperture. The primary camera has the aperture size of F/1.8 that should help well in low-light conditions as well. On the front, the camera that pops out with a motorized function is the 32-megapixel shooter to capture selfies and it has the F/2.0 aperture. The rear camera can capture 4K videos at 30 fps.

There is a 3700 mAh battery in the phone that supports fast charging, with the company’s dual-engine fast charging solution at 9V/2A. The Vivo V15 Pro has the dual-SIM connectivity and there is support for Dual VoLTE, and the Wi-Fi support is for dual-band with 2.4GHz and 5GHz, both the bands supported.

The Vivo V15 Pro is priced at Rs. 28990 and it is going to be available in two colors – Topaz Blue, and Ruby Red.
