Xiaomi was under some radar when Realme announced that the Realme 3 Pro has the support for the battlefield game Fortnite. It was probably the only phone in its price range to support the game that can be run on only a few smartphones, and most of them include the flagship ones. Now, Xiaomi finally has some good news for its Redmi Note 7 Pro users. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro is now compatible to run Fortnite game though we are not told of what graphic settings are possible with while running the game.

It is the MIUI update that is bringing the support for Fortnite game but users have reported that it wasn’t a part of the changelog that they got to see. Rather, there was a mention of some changes to the speaker where there were noises noticed and the company seems to have fixed that.

The status of Snapdragon 675 chipset was still new and that was mentioned by Xiaomi as one of the reasons why Fortnite support wasn’t given as the game developers roll out support to devices based on the chipsets they are powered with. Now that the company has worked with them, pretty much any phone that will have this particular processor will get the support for the Battle Royale game that has been going neck to neck with PUBG Mobile in a few markets.

If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for the update manually in the Settings and once the update is done to the MIUI version, you will have to visit the Epic Games’ website for downloading the Fortnite Installer app, which in turn will help check for the compatibility and then download the game for you.
