Xiaomi Mi Max phablet with 6.44-inch display launched in India

Xiaomi has smartphones with screen sizes from 4.7-inch to 5.5-inch, and then a tablet device having an 8-inch display. The space between these two sizes, i.e. the 5.5-inch and 8-inch was to be filled but a 7-inch screen size makes it a tablet device, so the company came up with a balance – Xiaomi Mi Max with a 6.44-inch screen gets officially launched in India.

It is a super large display that won’t be fitting any hand but then, that’s not a smartphone that Xiaomi will try to sell as it caters a different set of users. The Mi Max has a Full HD display with a 2.5D glass (and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection) and it is a metal unibody design that the device carries, just like the one on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Another thing to notice is that because of the large screen, the company could pack everything within a 7.5mm chassis and the complete weight of the phablet is 203 gm.
