Xiaomi PickMi door step pick up and drop service launched for Rs. 189

Xiaomi users can now rejoice, as the company has launched their doorstep home pick up and drop service across India called PickMi. The avail the service you need to shell out Rs. 189 which includes taxes, not just smartphones but other products as well can be serviced. Xiaomi has partnered with GadgetWood which is a multi-brand repair and support service provider which is a Start-up based in Delhi. With this partnership more service centers and the option of one-day service.

To avail the PickMi service all you have to do is call this number – 1800-103-6286 and after confirming your address your device will be picked p, not all areas are covered under the service. Any company which is looking at the long run to maintain its user base should provide good after sales service, which has been bad in case of Xiaomi according to many users with the lack of service centers across the country. With the timings of the service centers along with the capacity of each center being minimal the users are not happy with the provided care, many users complained about the 6pm closing time of the service centers which makes it difficult for software employees to submit their devices.

With many companies already starting doorstep pick up and delivery service like Motorola through its Moto Xpress pilot project currently restricted to regions like Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida. The Chinese company Meizu had also announced a doorstep delivery repair and service for its customers in India recently. With Xiaomi announcing to have sold over 3 million smartphones in India alone since its launch.

Hoping that with the start of PickMi service in collaboration with GadgetWood, Xiaomi will be looking into increasing spare parts and also the number of technicians to meet their one-day delivery promise thus increasing the trust in Xiaomi. There are no exact details about the regions which will be covered by the PickMi service, whether it is restricted to Cities and the number of cities covered will be updated after official update by the company.
