ASUS TUF Gaming Products announced at Computex 2018

Alongside the shiny new ROG Phone, Asus has also launched a plethora of PC gaming peripherals under its TUF Gaming line-up. For the uninitiated, the TUF Gaming series from ASUS is aimed towards PC gaming enthusiasts who are looking for tough and resilient gear that offers high performance and reliability at a reasonable price-tag.

ASUS TUF Gaming M5

First on the list is the TUF Gaming M5 mouse, which uses the Omron switches under the left and right buttons. The switches are rated to survive up to 50 million life time clicks ensuring great and responsive gaming experience over years of use.

The mouse comes with programmable keys, which can be configured using the ASUS’s Armoury II software. The mouse can store up to 3 settings profiles, which reduces the hassle of re-configuring each setting every time users switch rigs.

It uses Pixart’s PAW3327 optical sensor that has a sensitivity of 6200 dpi. Like every ASUS gaming range of product, the TUF Gaming M5 also comes with a configurable accent lighting which can be configured using ASUS’s Aura Sync software.

ASUS TUF Gaming K5

The ASUS TUF Gaming K5 is a full size gaming keyboard with RGB lighting. It comes with a splashproof design that can withstand up to 60 ml of liquid spills. Each keycap is painted with 3 layers of paint, for the keys to remain unchanged despite everyday ab-use.

It features Mech-brane styled switches, which consists a specially developed membrane that mimics the feel of the Mechanical keyboard. The Keyboard has 5-zone RGB lighting that can be configured to match your M5 mouse, using the Aura Sync Software.

TUF Gaming H5 Headset

The TUF Gaming H5 headset comes with a steel headband for added durability in the key area. It is said to have a comfortable lightweight design to ensure a that the users do not experience any fatigue during long gaming sessions.

The Gaming H5 headset has a 50 mm Essence driver which is fit inside an airtight chamber. It comes with 3.5 mm connectivity as well as a USB adapter which adds virtual surround sound.

TUG Gaming GT501

The TUF Gaming GT501 is a tough military-inspired Gaming Case that comes with steel all over with the plastic being limited to the front panel connectors and front face base. On the side, it comes with a see-through tempered glass, allowing you to showcase all your RGB parts.

The case a has enough room to fit up to two triple fan 360mm radiators on both the top and front of the case, with removable bottom, front and top panel filters. The case comes with 30mm gap behind the motherboard tray to allow easy cable routing .

TUF Gaming FX504

The TUF Gaming FX504 laptop features a 15.6 inch 120 Hz display with a 3ms response time. The panel covers 130% of sRGB color space and has a matte finish. It is powered by the latest Hexa-core 8th Intel Core i7 8750H processor. The graphics is handled by NviDia’s GTX 1060 GPU.

The laptop comes with up to 1 TB of Seagate FireCuda SSHD storage and up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2666 MHz. The laptop comes with 7.1 channel surround sound with DTS Headphone : X.

TUF Gaming FX10CP

The TUF Gaming FX10CP is a standalone desktop PC that sports a desktop grade Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor paired with NviDia’s GTX 1050 graphics. The PC also comes with up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2666 MHz.

As for the storage, the PC can be configured with up to 1 TB of hard drive and 512 GB of M.2 SATA SSD. For connectivity, the FX10CP comes with dual band 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0.

Pricing and Availability of Asus TUF Gaming Range

Although Asus hasn’t announced the pricing of any products, the Taiwanese company has hinted that devices shall arrive around Q3, 2018.
