Samsung has launched a new 2-in-1 convertible Chromebook, the Samsung Chromebook Plus (V2), in New Jersey on June 14. The laptop features a touchscreen display and with a built-in pen for input.
The Samsung Chromebook Plus (V2) comes with a 12.2” touchscreen display. The screen has an Full HD resolution, i.e., 1920×1080 pixels. The screen has a maximum brightness of 200 nits. The laptop comes with a built-in battery-free pen that has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing users to create art precisely.
Powering the laptop is an Intel Celeron 3965Y processor. It comes with up to 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It comes with an option for storage expansion for up to 400 GB. As for the graphics, the laptop comes with Intel’s integrated HD 615 graphics.
The keyboard users chiclet-style switches with curved keycaps that can withstand accidental water spills up to 60 cc. It comes with two cameras, a 13 MP camera on the keyboard deck which can be used for taking photos in tablet mode and a 1 MP front camera for video calls. It runs on Chrome OS.

The Chromebook Plus (V2) comes with dual 1.5W speakers for stereo output. As for the connectivity, it has 2 USB-C (4K display out with an optional adapter, Charging), 1 USB 3.0 port, a microSD card reader, a 3.5 mm audio jack. The laptop weighs 1.33 Kg or 2.93 lbs.
Pricing and Availability of Samsung Chromebook Plus (V2)
The Samsung Chromebook Plus (V2) comes only in Stealth Silver color. The pricing of the laptop is set at USD 499 and will be available for purchase at BestBuy starting June 24, 2018. The availability of the laptop in other markets is still unknown.
