GOQii has announced the launch of their latest smartband the GOQii Vital, in India. The company claims the smartband can measure both the BP as well as heart rate.
GOQii Vital with Blood Presssure Monitor
The GOQii Vital smartband features an OLED display. The colored OLED touchscreen display allows users to monitor and view their workout, time and other activities.
The band can track all your essential activities, such as your steps, distance, active time and Karma Score. It also has auto sleep detection. There’s also exercise mode which lets users track and monitor their exercises in Run, Cycle and Workout modes.
Apart from the usual Heart Rate tracking, the smartband can also monitor user’s Systolic and Diastolic Blood Pressure. The smartband takes around one minute to register the blood pressure readings properly.
Although it tracks the Blood Pressure of the user, the company does stress that the device wouldn’t replace the Sphygmomanometer, an instrument used for measuring Blood Pressure. The company also advises patients with HyperTension to consult their doctors before use.
The Karma Score is based on the steps the user has taken. For every 390 steps, the user gets rewarded with 1 Karma point; these Karma points are then converted into monetary donations.
The Vital keeps your notifications at the edge of your wrist. It displays Caller ID, SMS, WhatsApp alerts, Alarms as well as Coach notifications.
For connectivity, the band uses Bluetooth to connect to devices running on Android and iOS. The band comes with waterproofing, although the rating isn’t specified.

The Vital comes with a 60 mAh battery which can last up to 7 days. The battery can be charged using the built-in charging port that hides inside the strap.
Pricing and Availability of GOQii Vital
The GOQii Vital comes in Black color with interchangeable straps. The pricing of the band is set at 3,499 and will be available on Amazon India and GOQii health store, starting from July 16th.
