A day after the Find X‘s launch, Oppo has unveiled their latest mid-range offering in their A-series, the Oppo A3s, today, in India. The A3s is said to be the first Oppo phone in the South Asian market to come with a dual camera setup with AI selfie camera in an affordable price range. It comes with a notched display and a massive battery.

The Oppo A3s sports a 6.2-inch HD+ notched IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels. The phone has an 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 450 chipset with Adreno 504 GPU. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card. The phone runs on ColorOS 5.1.
As for the cameras, the Oppo A3s comes with a dual camera setup on the back. The dual camera setup consists of a 13 MP primary camera and a 2 MP secondary depth-sensing camera. To the front, the phone comes with an 8 MP selfie shooter, which comes with Oppo’s AI Beauty technology 2.0.

The battery underneath is a massive 4230 mAh unit. It has support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE and GPS. The phone comes with “Music Party” feature that lets multiple Oppo users with phones running ColorOS 5.1 or above to group play songs when connected through the hotspot.
Pricing and Availability of Oppo A3s
The Oppo A3s comes in two color options – Red and Dark Purple. The pricing of the phone is INR 10,990 and will be available online through Amazon India, Flipkart and PayTM as well as in offline markets across India.
