Realme 1 with 6-inch Full HD+ display, Helio P60 launched in India

Realme, a sub-brand of OPPO, has launched its new smartphone the, Realme 1, today at an event in New Delhi. The new smartphone comes with a 6-inch display and a Mediatek Helio chipset.

Realme 1 sports a 6-inch Full HD+ screen with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The Full Screen 18:9 display has an 84.7 % screen to body ratio. The phone is powered by Mediatek’s Helio P60 chipset clocked at 2.0 GHz and Mali G72 MP3 GPU. It comes in 3 RAM & storage variants – 3 GB RAM/ 32 GB storage, 4 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM/ 128 GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to an extra 128 GB via a microSD card. The phone has Color OS 5.0 running on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.

The Realme 1 comes with a single 13 MP rear shooter. To the front, there’s an 8 MP selfie shooter that can also be used for face unlocking. The cameras have Oppo’s AI beautification 2.0 technology with up to 296 Facial Recognition Points to get face information. It can also enhance the features of different people in a group selfie. There are also AR Stickers for photos & videos along with Arm & neck beautification.

Realme 1 Front

The Realme 1 packs in a 3410 mAh battery. It also has AI battery technology to prevent excessive battery draining. For connectivity, the phone comes with dual 4G support, micro USB port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 support. The phone is made up of Fiber Glass and weighs 158 gms. For security, the Realme 1 comes with Face Unlock technology, but there is no fingerprint scanner.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme 1 will come in Solar Red, Moonlight Silver for now and will come in a Diamond Black variant, later in June. The pricing of the phone is INR 8,999 for the 3 GB RAM/ 32 GB storage variant, INR 10999 for 4 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage and the 6 GB RAM/ 128 GB storage variant would cost you 13990. The phone is an Amazon Exclusive product and will be sold via flash sales.

The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage versions will be available from May 25th while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage one is going to be available in May.
