Tecno Camon i Sky with 5.45-inch display, 13MP camera launched

Tecno Mobile, a chinese smartphone brand under Transsion Holdings, who made inroads in India in 2016 has launched their new smartphone Tecno Camon iSky, today in India. The phone is launched in partnership with the IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab. Tecno Mobile, is subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, which also owns Infinix Mobile, Itel.

The phone has a 5.45 inch Fullview Display with a resolution of 480x960p. It has the new taller 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by the quad-core Mediatek 6739 chipset with a PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. The phone has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo with Tecno’s own HiOS 3.3 on top.

Tecno Camon i Sky Front

The Camon iSky has a 13 MP rear camera , with a dual LED flash. The camera can shoot videos at 1080p resolution. To the front there’s an 8 MP camera that is accompanied by a LED flash. The front camera can use either the included LED flash or even the screen flash as well, to brighten up your selfies. The front facing camera can be used for face unlock as well. The camera modes include Video mode, Panorama Mode, beauty mode and a normal mode. The camera also supports HDR and live filters.

The phone comes with 3050 mAH battery. For connectivity, the phone has GPS, Wi-FI, Bluetooth, USB OTG support. Apart from Fingerprint sensor, the phone also includes G-sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor. The phone supports 4G VoLTE.

Tecno Camon i Sky Kit

Earlier, the company had launched their Camon i smartphone whose main focus was the camera. The company plans on targeting the low end market with the new smartphone offering.

Pricing and Availability

The phone will available in Gold, colors. It is priced at 7990 and will be available to purchase from select offline stores.
