Asus just launched the successors to their most successful series from the previous year, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and the Asus ZenFone Max M2 have been announced by the brand and come with very promising specifications. Both the devices have a similar sized display and come with identical looks. The Asus ZenFone Max M2 will the be lower end variant of the two devices and will come powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz. The Asus ZenFone Max M2 will be launched in two variants, the base model will have 3GB of RAM with 32GB internal storage while the higher end variant will have 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. The Asus ZenFone Max will also have a lower resolution screen with a resolution of 1520 x 720 on a 6.26-inch HD+ display. There is a notch on the display to accommodate all the required sensors, front camera, and the earpiece. The battery on the Asus ZenFone Max M2 is of 4,000mAh capacity and comes with a 10W power adapter.
The rear camera setup on the Asus ZenFone Max M2 is a dual camera setup comprising a 13MP primary camera with a f/1.8 aperture that is paired with a 2MP depth-sensing camera, the rear camera comes with an LED flash and supports recording in 4K resolution. The front camera on the device is an 8MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture. The device supports fingerprint and face unlocking in terms of biometrics, the software on the Asus ZenFone Max M2 is based on Stock Android 8.1 Oreo.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 also has a 6.26-inch display but comes with a FullHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080, there is a notch even on this display to house the required sensors, earpiece, and the front shooter. The display on the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 is protected via the Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for better break resistance. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset clocked at 1.95GHz and comes in three variants, the base model comes with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage while the mid variant has 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, the top variants is rightly powered with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The battery on the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 is a 5000mAh battery and the device supports the standard 10W power adapter. The rear camera on the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 is a dual camera setup with a 12MP sensor having a f/1.8 aperture paired with a 5MP sensor for depth sensing. The rear camera supports EIS and 4K video recording. The front camera on the device is a 13MP shooter with a f/2.0 aperture. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 comes in three variants with the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant going on sale for Rs. 12999, the 4GB RAM + 64GB variant for Rs. 14999 and the 6GB RAM with 64GB Internal storage variant for Rs. 16999.
