Honor India has launched their latest mid-range smartphone, the Honor 9N, today, in India. The smartphone comes with a notched display that looks strikingly similar to the Honor 10 and glass back design which resembles the Honor 9 lite.

The Honor 9N sports a 5.84-inch FullHD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. A 2.5D curved glass covers the 19:9 notched display. The screen has a pixel density of 432 PPI and a screen-to-body ratio of 79%. Powering the 9N is the HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. The Kirin 659 comes with an i5 coprocessor which measures real-time steps, distance, GPS location and much more. The phone will receive the GPU Turbo technology as an update in Q4, 2018. It comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage of up to 128 GB via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Huawei EMUI 8.0 on top.
The Honor 9N has a dual camera setup on the back which uses a 13 MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a secondary 2 MP sensor which captures depth information for portrait shots. To the front, the phone comes with a 16 MP selfie camera which has a f/1.8 aperture. The camera offers modes such as Portrait mode, Gender Beauty mode, as well as wide aperture mode. The cameras use Pixel Binning technology which converts 4 pixels into 1 large 2.0um pixel to deliver brighter images in low-lighting conditions.
The Honor 9N packs in a 3000 mAh battery that charges through the micro USB port. It comes with support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi- 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, and GLONASS.
For security, the phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and also has face unlock. The phone also comes with Ride Mode, which keeps the riders away from distracting calls while driving.
Pricing and Availability of Honor 9N
The pricing of the phone is Rs. 11999 for 3+32GB version, while the 4+64GB version is at Rs. 13999, and the 4+128GB version is at Rs. 17999 and is available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart, starting at 31st of July 2018 from 12:00 noon.
