Infinix Mobility has launched their latest smartphone, the Infinix Note 5, today, in India. The smartphone features a FullView display as well as a MediaTek SOC. It comes as a successor to the Infinix Note 4. As the phone is part of the Android One program, the phone will get timely updates both security and OS.

The Infinix Note 5 comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, covered under a 2.5D curved glass. Underneath the hood, the phone features a MediaTek Helio P23 chipset with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. It comes in two RAM & storage options – 3 GB RAM with 32 GB of internal storage, and a 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage. There’s an also room for storage expansion for up to 128 GB using the dedicated microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
As for the cameras, the Infinix Note 5 comes with a 12 MP rear facing camera which has a 1.25um pixel size and a f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera comes with AI portrait mode with for AI portrait shots. To the front, the phone comes with a 16 MP front-facing camera. The selfie camera can recognize up to 255 facial points for portrait and AI beauty features.
The Infinix Note 5 packs in a massive 4500 mAh battery with fast charging support. There’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the device.
For connectivity, the smartphone comes with Dual 4G VoLTE, 802l11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS & OTG support.
Pricing and Availability of Infinix Note 5
The Infinix Note 5 comes in Berlin Gray, Ice Blue, and Milan Black colors. The phone is priced at INR 9,999 for the3 GB RAM variant, whereas the 4 GB RAM variant would cost INR 11,999. The phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting August 31.
Jio customers can avail up to 500 GB of additional data and a cashback of INR 2,200, in the form of vouchers.
