LAVA International Limited has announced its entry into the premium smartphone segment with the launch of two new smartphones, the Lava Z25 and Lava Z10. The company is said to have shifted its focus and is renewing it towards in-house design, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain.
Both the smartphones are Dual SIM devices and they come equipped the latest multilingual keyboard that supports 11 Indian languages. Also, both of them have a Series 5 metal back cover with premium chrome edges. Even if it is months since Android Nougat OS is released, both the phones have Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system, with Star OS 3.3 as the custom interface. The interface has smart gestures, USB OTG support, and also the 3-point touch that helps take a screenshot by dragging three fingers down on the screen.
The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with the 2.5D curved arc glass on top, and it is internally powered by the MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocking at 1.5GHz, and along with that, there is 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.
The device has a 13-megapixel rear camera with the Sony Exmor RS sensor, F2.0 wide-aperture, 5P Largan lens, and on the software side, the camera supports Bokeh mode, Night Pro, and other modes. On the front is an 8-megapixel camera with spotlight flash. The Lava Z25 also has a fingerprint sensor that is said to unlock the phone in just 0.16 seconds, and it also supports App Encryption.
There is a 3020 mAh battery and the phone has ‘Power Saver mode’ and ‘Super Power Saver mode’ that are said to be extending the battery life by about 5 hours and 18 hours respectively.
This is a smaller phone with a 5-inch HD display and the 2.5D curved arc glass on the top, and internally it is powered by an octa-core processor and along with that is 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. On the camera aspect, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, both having F/2.0 aperture and similar modes for the rear camera as that on the Z25.
A 2620 mAh battery powers the Z10 smartphone and it has the same ‘Power Saver mode’ and ‘Super Power Saver mode’ that are said to be extending the battery life by about 5 hours and 18 hours respectively.

Lava Z25 and Z10 Price and Availability
The phones are priced at Rs. 18,000 and Rs. 11,500 respectively and initially they are going to be available in Delhi, later followed by the other cities. Lava Z25 will be available in Champagne Gold and Grey while Lava Z10 in Gold color variant.
The smartphones also come with a ’30 Day Replacement Policy’ where consumers will get a replacement with a new device in case of any hardware damage within a span of 30 days of purchase. Additionally, the customers will be entitled to avail a one-time mobile screen replacement on the purchase of the smartphones which will be applicable till one year of the purchase.
