LG, who had launched the LG V40 ThinQ last week, is set to launch the official specs of the smartphone on October 3, 2018. The V40 ThinQ comes with five cameras in total, with two on the front and three on the rear. Today, a new has surfaced which give us the insights of what the cameras can do.
Evan Blass (popular as EvLeaks on twitter) has posted the newly released promos of the device on his twitter handle which does tell us a little about the upcoming flagship’s cameras. According to the leak, the LG V40 will have a standard shooter, a wide-angle shooter and a telephoto unit on the rear, while on the front, the phone will have a regular and wide-angle camera.
The promos don’t give out any details of the actual sensor sizes and their apertures themselves. However, a new unconfirmed leak suggests that the regular camera would use a 16 MP sensor with a f/1.5 lens on top, a 13 MP sensor with a f/1.9 aperture for the super-wide-angle lens and an 8 MP telephoto unit which offers up to 3x zoom.
Apart from this, we do expect the V40 to ship with the flagship Snapdragon 845 SOC from Qualcomm and 3300 mAh battery that provides fuel for it. A notched 19.5:9 QHD+ display is expected to be used on the device.
There are no details for the front-facing cameras yet, but we will get all the details of the device in the next two days, once LG launches it, on October 3rd. So, stay tuned to Gizmo Times.
