Mobiistar CQ with 13 MP selfie camera launched at Rs. 4999

Alongside the XQ Dual, Mobiistar has also launched an entry level smartphone, Mobiistar CQ, on May 23rd, in New Delhi. The selfie-centric smartphone from the Vietnamese brand is said to offer great selfies without compromising on performance.

The CQ sports a 5.0 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and is covered under a 2.75D curved glass. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 425 chipset with Adreno 308 GPU. It has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage up to 128 GB via the dedicated microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with Mobiistar’s Star Launcher on top.

Talking about the launch, Mr. Carl Ngo Co-founder and CEO of Mobiistar said,

The rear camera is an 8 MP shooter with an F/2.0 lens on the the front. There’s also an LED flash to brighten up your photos in low-lighting conditions. To the front, we get a 13 MP camera with F/2.0 aperture. Both cameras feature their 7 level Beauty mode for better portrait shots.

The CQ has a 3000 mAh battery underneath. It has 4G VoLTE as well as the latest ViLTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi- 802.11 b/g/n, GPS support.

Pricing and Availability of Mobiistar CQ

The Mobiistar CQ comes in 2 colors – Gold and Black. The phone is priced at 4,999 and will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting 12 noon, May 30, 2018.

Additionally, there is a special guaranteed Rs. 1,000 product exchange offer on Flipkart on any smartphone, for this series. This ensures that your get an assured Rs. 1,000 off by exchanging any old mobile handset for the new CQ or XQ. Additionally, The Mobiistar series comes with a Complete Mobile Protection. Under the same warranty the device will be covered in cases of hardware or software issues, broken screen, liquid damage, repair & replacement and even doorstep pickup and drop. This will all come at a very special price of INR 99.

Mobiistar has also partnered with Reliance Jio, to bring offers like the ‘Jio Football Offer’ that entitles a cashback of Rs.2200 to all Jio customers (existing and new) by performing a recharge of Rs.198/Rs.299 Jio prepaid plan on or before 30th June, 2018.
