Mobiistar, a Vietnamese handset maker has entered the Indian smartphone market with the launch of, the Mobiistar XQ Dual, today. The phone comes with an Octa-core Snapdragon processor and dual selfie cameras of which the secondary unit is a wide angle shooter.
The XQ Dual sports a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The 16:9 display is protected under Asahi Dragontrail 2.5D glass. The phone is powered by the Octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 handling the graphics. It comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage with an option to expand the memory up to 128 GB via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat, with the company’s own Star Launcher on the top.
The XQ Dual comes with a single 13 MP rear facing camera with an F/2.0 aperture. There’s also a Dual Tone Dual LED flash, as well. The rear camera has features such as Phase Detection AutoFocus, 7 Level Face Beauty, Professional mode, HDR and Night mode. The rear camera can record videos at a maximum resolution 1080p at 30fps.
To the front, we are greeted by dual front-facing cameras, of which the main unit a normal camera, while the secondary unit is a super-wide angle camera. The primary camera is a 13 MP shooter with F/2.0 aperture, and the secondary camera is a 8 MP F/2.2 camera with a 120 super wide view angle. The selfie cameras have features such as 7 level Face Beauty, Camera filters and HDR. There’s also a LED flash on the front.
The XQ Dual packs in a 3000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. It has a rear mounted fingerprint scanner for added security. The 4G smartphone has a support for VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1. The phone comes with Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, E-compass, Gyroscope sensors.

The Mobiistar XQ Dual comes in 2 colors – Gold and Black. The phone is priced at INR 7,999 and will be exclusively available on Flipkart, starting May 30.
