Moto G5 Plus with Android Nougat hands-on images and specs leaked

Motorola Moto G4 is history now, and the company is quick to move to its next Moto G-series smartphone. Last month we saw a couple of leaks that include hands-on images, and a bunch of renders, though few initial reports claimed the device will be called as the Motorola Moto C, the new leak that appeared today reveals that the device is indeed Moto G5 Plus-a successor the last year’s Moto G4 Plus.

Apparently, someone from Romania is selling the Prototype of the Moto G5 Plus that includes both the live pictures you can see below as well as a full list of specs and expected the release date. To start off, The Motorola Moto G5 Plus is expected to go official in March which might mean around the time of MWC 2017 which kick starts in late February. Coming to the specifications, the Moto G5 Plus sports a 5.5-inches 1080p display and is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. It packs 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. On the battery front, it has a 3080mAh built-in battery.

The Motorola Moto G5 Plus runs on Android 7.0 Nougat which is expected from a Motorola device. It also has a Fingerprint sensor on board for extra device security. Details regarding the Cameras are scarce as of yet. The listing from January 4th is still up and If you are a Romanian citizen and wish to play around with a prototype of an unreleased smartphone sans any accessories, you can go ahead and purchase it for RON 1,650 ( $387 or €366).
