OPPO A7x with 6.3-inch Full HD+ display, Helio P60 SOC announced

OPPO has announced the launch of their latest mid-range smartphone, the OPPO A7x, today, in China. The new smartphone from OPPO has the same teardrop-like notch on the top and a design which is similar to the F9 Pro.

The OPPO A7x sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. The screen has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Powering the A7x is the Octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SOC with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It comes with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256 GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Color OS 5.2 on top.

In the camera department, the phone comes with a dual camera setup on the back. The primary shooter is a 16 MP unit with a f/1.85 aperture, while the secondary camera is a 2 MP depth-sensing camera. On the front, the phone has a 16 MP selfie camera.

For security, the OPPO A7x comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, 802.11 ac dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. The battery underneath the hood is a 3500 mAh unit.

Pricing and Availability of OPPO A7x

The OPPO A7x is available in Blue and Purple colors. The phone is priced at CNY 1999 and will be available for preorder on the OPPO online shop, while the sale begins on September 14th.
