OPPO India had tweeted about the upcoming flagship from the company, the OPPO F7 and while the first tweet was deleted, it did have the date mentioned as March 26th for the probable launch of the upcoming smartphone in India. Just as the naming goes with the company, the even number is being skipped and after the OPPO F5 and F5 Plus, we are going to see the F7.
This will be yet another selfie-focused smartphone from the company and it is said to be coming with a 25-megapixel shooter for selfies. The design shown in the teaser shows how the phone will have a Full View display, but there will be a notch on the top to accommodate the sensors, earpiece, and the front camera. The design somewhat resembles the upcoming OPPO R15 that is extensively leaked already.
The picture also asks its fans to guess the cricketer who is holding the phone, and by the looks of it, Hardik Pandya should be the one, who will also be the new brand ambassador for the company.
As for the specifications, apart from that high-end front camera, it will probably be a 6.2-inch display on the front with the 19:9 aspect ratio and the Full HD+ resolution. Of course, the addition of Artificial Intelligence to make selfies better will be a part of the package, as it was with the recent OPPO phones.
As the company’s official Twitter account has deleted the tweet about the launch date, we are not confirming it but it could still be the same date on which we might see the phone getting officially launched.
