Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro launched with 5.7-inch display, 4GB RAM

The long rumored and after the information of which being leaked quite a few times, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is officially announced by the company in China. Though the phone carries the same design style as most of the other Samsung phones, it looks good enough in the C series. The Galaxy C7 Pro comes with a large body, thanks to the 5.7-inch display with the 1080p resolution.

The phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the TouchWiz UI and under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor having the CPU clocked at 2.2GHz along with 4GB of RAM. The internal storage offered in the C7 Pro is 64GB and while this is a Dual SIM smartphone, the second SIM slot is a hybrid one where you can either have a SIM or a MicroSD card for the storage expansion.

While the internals are at par with the current good standards, Samsung has made sure that the shutterbugs don’t get disappointed, as both the cameras on the phone have 16MP sensors with the F/1.9 aperture and they can record Full HD videos.

In the software features, while the phone has a lot of advanced features including the ones that are given in Android Marshmallow OS, there is also the Always-On display and Samsung Pay features.

The device is listed on the official Chinese website of Samsung and the pre-order starts from January 16th. There’s no information given about the phone’s availability outside of the Chinese market.

Samsung had also recently officially launched the Galaxy A 2017 series, comprising of the A3, A5, and A7 smartphones with USB Type-C port and waterproof bodies.
