There have been several leaks surrounding the Galaxy J2 2016 variant which came into limelight because of the new Smart Glow Notification, there was a recent leak of specifications regarding the device and a couple of hours later the device was launched officially in India alongside the J Max. The Galaxy J2 sports a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels an upgrade from its predecessor.
The other aspects of the device have also got an upgrade with a 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor with Mali-400MP2 GPU along with a 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB with microSD. It is a decent upgrade from the 1.3GHz quad-core SoC and 1GB RAM in its predecessor.
