Samsung just launched the Galaxy On7 Prime as their latest mid-range smartphone in India. The device comes with the all-new Samsung Mall which is a visual search engine. The device was first spotted about a week ago on the Samsung UAE website and will go on sale exclusively on Amazon in India.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime has been launched in two variants, the 3GB version comes for Rs. 12,990 and has 32GB internal storage while the 4GB variant comes for Rs. 14,990 and has 64GB internal storage. The device will be sold exclusively on Amazon India and Samsung Shop in Gold and Black color variants. The device will go on sale January 20 onwards and comes with a cashback of Rs. 2000 for JioMoney users as a launch offer. This launch offer for cash back is applicable only if the user recharges with the Rs. 299 pack for 24 months. The user will receive a cashback of Rs. 800 after the first 12 months of sequential recharge and the rest Rs 1200 will be paid post the next 12 months.

The Galaxy On7 Prime comes as a dual-SIM smartphone and is powered by their Exynos 7870 chipset with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM based on the variant you choose. The Galaxy On7 Prime has a 5.5-inch FullHD display and runs on Android Nougat 7.1 with Samsung Experience UI 8.5 skin.
The device comes with a 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.9 and the front camera is the exact same but lacks autofocus. The 3GB RAM variant comes with 32GB internal storage while the 4GB RAM variant comes with 64GB internal storage, both the variants support microSD expansion to up to 256GB.
The device has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS. The Galaxy On7 Prime also has a Micro-USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack for headsets. The sensor array on the device includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The device also has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button which can be used for unlocking the smartphone and for Samsung Pay. The battery on the device is a 3300mAh battery and is rated to give 21 hours of talk time on 3G and the complete device weighs 167 grams with dimensions of 51.7×75.0x8.0mm.
