Tecno has announced the launch of their first dual camera smartphone, the Tecno Camon i Twin, today in India. The smartphone comes with dual rear-cameras and comes powered by a Snapdragon 425 chipset.
The Tecno Camon i Twin features a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen, which has a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. The screen has a maximum brightness of 500 nits and comes protected under a 2.5D curved glass. Powering the smartphone is a Snapdragon 425 chipset with Adreno 304 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Thankfully, the phone comes with a dedicated microSD card slot, so users need not have to sacrifice their second SIM. The phone runs on Tecno’s HiOS based on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.
Keeping up with the trend, Camon i Twin comes with a dual camera setup on the back. There’s a 13 MP primary sensor with a pixel size of 1.12um which sits behind a f/2.0 lens, alongside which sits the secondary 2 MP depth-sensing camera and the Quad LED flash. The cameras offer Portrait mode, AI Beauty mode, AI Bokeh mode, Panorama mode, 4x digital zoom & Auto Scene Detection (ASD) with AI.
To the front, there’s a 13 MP selfie shooter that has an aperture of f/2.0. There’s also an LED flash on the front, to lighten up your selfies in dim-lighting or low-lighting conditions. The front camera comes with AI Beauty and AI Portrait modes.
The Tecno Camon i Twin packs in a massive 4000 mAh battery which charges through a micro USB port. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face-unlock for secured access. The phone weighs 161 gms and has a thickness of 8.5mm.

The Tecno Camon i Twin comes in two color options – Champagne Gold and Midnight Black. The MOP of the phone is set at INR 11,499 and will be sold through offline stores, starting today.
