Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with Snapdragon 820 launched in India for Rs. 47990

Samsung India has made the Galaxy Tab S8 Android Tablet official in the Indian market with the price tag of Rs. 47990. The Galaxy Tab S3 puts itself up against the new iPad Pro tablets that were just released with the new screen size of 10.5-inch. The Tab S3 from Samsung comes with a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display and as usual, there is an Advanced S-Pen included for some extra functionality.

A glass back helps with the look of the tablet and there is a 6mm thin metal frame. Internally, the Galaxy Tab S3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor (Quad Core 2.15GHz + 1.6GHz), 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory that is expandable via microSD up to 256GB and runs Android 7.0 Nougat.

It is a quad-speaker setup offered on the Galaxy Tab S3 and these are professionally tuned by AKG. The tablet is offered with a 13MP auto focus rear camera with flash and a 5MP front camera. As for the additions, the Galaxy Tab S3 offers support to Pogo keyboards that require no separate charging or pairing. These Pogo keyboards have deep key strokes for a better typing experience. The sensors included in the tablet are Accelerometer, Fingerprint Sensor, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, RGB Light Sensor. A 6000 mAh battery is offered in the Tab S3 and it has the fast charging support.

For a safe and secure login, Samsung Flow uses biometric authentication to log-in and can wirelessly tether compatible devices to transfer documents from a mobile device to a tablet. It also syncs message notifications so users never miss an important text message whether they are using a smartphone or their tablet.

Galaxy Tab S3 will be offered to consumers at a price of INR 47,990 and will come in Black and Silver colours. It will be available across retail stores starting June 20, 2017. Under a special launch offer till July 31, Galaxy Tab S3 will be offered with one time screen replacement at INR 990 within a period of 12 months from purchase and Reliance Jio’s double data offer of 28+28GB a month at INR 309, valid till December 31.

  1. that’s an expensive android tablet, I rather but an iPad or a laptop for the same price!!

  2. too high price for specs. I have watched lately the tablets availaible in the market are getting less and less worth their money. Processor, yeah ok, its good, but for its price price I believe there should ‘ve been better specs than even this. Even with such a large screen when you need more pixels you rarely get better than 1280 * 1080 screen quality. Camera’s are always a trash and other things like RAM are sometimes ok or even that is not not up to mark. Basically what I ‘m saying is that no tablet in the market is worth buying anymore and smartphones are the king now. They have so much better specs in every category for a much lower price. One Plus 5 just released and it has 8GB RAM. Yeah, seriously. THAT’S where we are headed-but only the smartphone industry the tablet industry is going to stay behind.
