Canon EOS-1D X Mark II Full Frame DSLR camera launched in India

Canon has just announced a professional camera called the EOS-1D X Mark II which designed for professionals and the pricing is on the higher side at Rs. 4,55,995. The camera is the successor of the EOS-1DX which was the professionals delight. The camera is said to be available from April in India.

This can be called the company’s flagship sporting a 20.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor powered by Canon’s Dual DIGIC 6 image processor. The camera now supports 4K video recording up to 60 fps with smooth AF along with the 120fps video mode for slow-motion videos. Canon has upgraded the ISO range to 409,600 with a normal ISO range from 100-51200.

The camera is fast as it comes with 14fps and up to 16fps in Live View mode capable of capturing burst rate of up to 170 RAWs with a CFast card. It comes with 61-point AF system which helps in delivering clean, sharp images quickly even in dim light. It comes with a 3.2-inch touch panel LCD with 1.62 million dots to view stills and videos. The camera has rugged and durable build made of magnesium alloy body with dust and weather resistance to take on out door weather conditions.

With 14.0 fps & 4K video recording at up to 60fps, sports, fast action, wildlife photographers, as well as videographers, will find the EOS-1D X Mark II to be a revolutionary step up”

It comes with built-in GPS with geotag information to include auto time syncing with Universal Time Code via satellites. The new optional Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E8A is compatible with IEEE 802.11ac/n/a/g/b, supporting both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi® bands.
