ASUS ZenFone 3 vs. Deluxe vs. Ultra – How do the phones differ?

ASUS has just unveiled the three new smartphones in the ZenFone 3 lineup – the ASUS ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and the ZenFone 3 Ultra. While the most powerful of three is the ZenFone 3 Deluxe, the other two are not bad at all, especially when you see them power packed with specifications for the price at which they are being sold.

Let’s talk about how all the three phones differ, when it comes to specifications. One of the only important similarity between all of them is with the OS and UI they run, i.e. ZenUI 3.0.

Similarities between the three variants

  • All the three phones have the same 8-megapixel front-facing camera
  • Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C connectivity on all of them
  • The phones have Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ZenUI 3.0 interface
  • There is 802.11ac Wi-Fi: 5G/2.4G, MIMO on all the three variants
  • All the phones have two SIM slots, of which the second one is hybrid slot
