OxygenOS 4.1.3 update for OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 Rolling out

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.1.3 update for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The update changelog is almost similar to the OxygenOS 4.1.0 that was rolled out last month to both the smartphones. The new update will be rolled out to users in a phased manner, where the update will be rolled out to a section of users starting today, and a broader rollout will start in the coming week.

Android 7.1.1 based OxygenOS 4.1.0 brings Android security patch for March 2017, several improvements like expanded screenshots, blur reduction while taking photos, better video stability while recording, and improved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Now with OxygenOS 4.1.3, the company has fixed Instagram swiping bug, hardware buttons malfunctions, and increased system stability. This is an OTA update unlike the Beta updates; a user will have to keep an eye on the system update notifications. However, it might take some time before the OTA update reaches you.

If you want to check for the update manually, you need to go to Settings > About and there, check for the updates, though it is a phased rollout and it should take some time if the update hasn’t already arrived on your device. The Android 7.0 Nougat based on OxygenOS 4.0 was rolled out to OnePlus 3 and 3T back in January. It is good to see that OnePlus is working on regular updates to its smartphones while preparing the next phone, the flagship for this year, i.e. the OnePlus 5.
