OnePlus 5 with model number A5000 spotted on regulatory site

The number 4 being unlucky and ominous in Chinese culture, companies usually skip that. OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer who launched OnePlus 3 last year and followed it with the OnePlus 3T is now all set to launch their upcoming flagship; the OnePlus 5 very soon. As the device just spotted on China’s Radio Regulation Authority, it provides enough evidence for the earlier leaks.

The new OnePlus model was first spotted by AndroidPure and comes with model number A5000 hinting that the next OnePlus flagship will indeed be called as OnePlus 5. Given the fact that older OnePlus phones; OnePlus 3 and 3T carried model numbers A3000 and A3010. The OnePlus 5 is expected to sport a 5.5-inches 2K display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with 8GB RAM. As for the camera, the device features a 23-megapixel rear camera with features like optical image stabilization, zoom, and flash and a 16-megapixel selfie camera up front.

OnePlus 5

Previous OnePlus 5 leaks suggest that the device is expected to feature dual-edged screen, hardware navigation keys. The Fingerprint sensor is moved to back side, considering the real estate used by the display. The device will pack a ceramic body, and finally, no pricing details have surfaced yet, but we expected them to show up in the coming days.  Of course, all these details are rumors at the moment, so we suggest you to take with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned to GizmoTimes for more details in the coming days.
