Specs of Maze Alpha, a bezel-less smartphone from China leaked

As we’ve been saying, the past few months have been a lot about displays than anything else. Xiaomi Mi Mix, then the LG G6, and the flagships from Samsung too got some amazing displays at hand. Now, a relatively lesser-known brand from China is coming up with an almost bezel-less display. Maze Mobile is going to launch the Maze Alpha smartphone and based on the leaks it is clear that the phone has its display as the talking point.

It was Evan Blass (@evleaks) who put out some information about the smartphone on Twitter, and the major specs are thus now known. The Maze Alpha smartphone is said to be coming with a 6-inch Full-HD display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection and there’s an octa-core processor (though the particular chipset is not yet known), a dual-rear camera from Sony, and a 4000 mAh battery will give it the power required.

For the other specs, the RAM and storage are going to vary based on the variant and we can see 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage variants. The phone will be running Android Nougat OS out of the box.

There are obvious differences here and there when comparing with the Xiaomi Mi Mix, and that includes the presence of a fingerprint scanner on the front and for that, there are bezels towards the bottom. Also, the Mi Mix didn’t have a front-facing earpiece or speaker, which the Maze Alpha does. Let’s still assume that the Maze Alpha is an affordable option for the ones who love wide displays without any bezels.
