Zebronics India Pvt. Ltd. has launched a smart HDMI wireless streaming dongle that is meant to transform any HDMI TV or monitor into wireless display for your Smartphone, tablet or PC. The ZEB-Cast100 dongle offers support for Miracast, DLNA, and Airplay.
Having a design similar to that of the Google Chromecast dongle, the ZEB-Cast100 is wireless when it comes to connectivity and you will just need to charge it with a MicroUSB charger. Whatever is the output device, a TV or any external receiver, it needs to have an HDMI port in order to connect. There are a number of TV models that don’t offer the Smart features but have made sure that an HDMI port is offered so that the user has a choice to use an external solution for the smart functionality, so finding an HDMI port won’t be hard.
The support for Miracast, Airplay and DLNA technology lets you stream media wirelessly from any Android, Apple or Windows device. Once you insert the dongle, there are a set of instructions that you need to follow, shown on the TV screen. The ZEB-Cast100 dongle has LED indicators that light up to show the power and Wi-Fi connectivity status.
