iOS 10.0.2 Update – Change log, Download IPSW for Manual Install

iOS 10 has already seen a public release of its update, which is the iOS 10.0.2 version update being sent to all the compatible devices that are already running the iOS 10.0.1 version. This update was quite needed because the users had reported of a few issues in the first iOS 10 update and the fixes for the same were needed.

Addresses an issue that could prevent headphone audio controls from temporarily not working

As far as the installation is concerned, the manual installation can be done through Apple iTunes. It is not hard to do that but make sure you take a backup before you hit the Restore button. Connect your iPhone or iPad that you want to update after you download the IPSW file from the given list below, and then open iTunes.

In the iTunes, you will find the summary page of your iDevice and in that, the option for “Restore iPhone…” or “Restore iPad…” will show up. Before you click on that, press and hold either Shift key for Windows or Alt/Option for Mac. Now, press the Restore button and locate the IPSW file, so that the installation process begins.
