iOS 10 / 10.0.1 released for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch – Download Now

Apple has finally started rolling out the latest major iOS update, the iOS 10 for the devices that are compatible to receive it. The devices that can get the iOS 10 update include iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, 6, 6 Plus, SE, 5s, 5c, 5, iPad 4 and over, and iPod touch 6th-generation.

The new update brings about a lot of changes, including an improved Siri experience and functionality, and a lot changed in the apps. Here’s how to download the iOS 10 update on your iOS device, if it is eligible to receive it.

Go to Settings > General > Software Update if you have not got the notification for it already. The iOS will look for any available update and because Apple rolls out the update to everyone at once, you would see the update already available.

Following are the iOS devices that are eligible to get the iOS 10 update. You will soon be getting the IPSW file links for downloading the installer file if you don’t receive the update or if you have jailbroken your device and thus are not getting the OTA update on it.

It is worth noting that Apple is now allowing the deletion or disabling of pre-installed apps in iOS 10.
