OnePlus 6T India Launch Event set for October 30, ticket sales to start from October 17

OnePlus has finally started sending invites for the launch event of the OnePlus 6T, both globally and in India. The Chinese smartphone maker is said to launch the upcoming flagship killer, the OnePlus 6T, on October 30.

The India launch of the OnePlus 6T will take place at KDJW Stadium, inside Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, in New Delhi, at 8:30 p.m. on October 30. While the Global Launch event will be held in New York, on October 30 at 11:00 a.m. EDT, indicating a simultaneous global and Indian, which was not the case with the OnePlus 6.

The launch invites will be available starting from 10:00 a.m. on October 17, 2018, at price of INR 999. Attendees will be the first to experience the OnePlus 6T at the Experience Zone at the event. In addition to that, all the fans who attend the event shall receive a gift hamper full of super add-ons and OnePlus Merchandise.

While those cannot attend the event, need not be disappointed, as OnePlus will be live streaming the launch event on their website, which is https://www.oneplus.in/6t/launch . Also the notify me page for pre-registration of the OnePlus 6T is live on Amazon.in, which OnePlus’s exclusive online sales partner, since the original OnePlus 1.

As for the phone itself, the OnePlus 6T will come with a waterdrop notch and an in-display fingerprint scanner similar to the Oppo R17. However, the 6T will not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, which will be replaced by a OnePlus Bullets USB C Bullets which will be announced alongside the 6T at the event. Other rumored specifications include the beefy Snapdragon 845 SOC, with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM with either 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB.
