Xiaomi Nov 2nd Launch

Xiaomi India to launch a phone on Nov 2nd., focus on selfies, MIUI 9

Xiaomi India has started sending out invitations for a new launch that is dated for November 2nd, and the invite clearly says that it is going to be a new series that is getting launched and it is also confirmed that a smartphone is getting launched. Now, what is interesting here is the fact that Xiaomi has now started focusing on a feature that was quite famous with OPPO and Vivo – the Selfies.

It is a flash icon that is given in the invite, which clearly looks similar to the MIUI 9 icon and thus, it could be a possibility that the upcoming smartphone will have MIUI 9 interface. But apart from that, the social media posts done by the company and the VP of Xiaomi, Manu Kumar Jain, mentions a lot about the selfie camera and thus, it is for sure that we might see a better selfie camera than the one in its previous phones.

“I’m not a Note”, and “I’m not a Book”, these are some of the hints given by the company, and as we see the mention of a new series altogether, it wouldn’t be a part of the Redmi Note or the Redmi series, and even under the Mi branding, we have only seen the flagships so far from the company. On the other side, the Mi Note series has never arrived in the Indian market and thus, we expect that to be launched with the Mi Note 3 being the one getting official on November 2nd.

Mi Note 3

We expect it to be the Mi Note 3 because the device has a superior front-facing camera – a 16-megapixel shooter with the Artificial Intelligence for the beautification, and there is also facial recognition offered for unlocking of the device. Even as we say this, it is not a confirmation that we might really see this phone because the company could be coming up with a completely new device, as the details about the launch are vague.

The launch is scheduled for November 2nd, and we will be updating as soon as we find more details, if any, before the launch itself.
