Presently, there are no decent smartphones with an affordable price tag. Xiaomi has come up with the Redmi 4A with a price tag of just Rs. 5,999 with decent power. The Redmi 4A comes with a 5-inch 720p IPS LCD display which as an upgrade from the previous Redmi 2 / 2 Prime, because it doesn’t have enough specs to match the Redmi 3s.

It comes with 16GB of internal storage with 2GB of RAM. It has a rear 13MP f/2.2 camera and front 5MP camera. It’s packed with the Snapdragon 425 clocked at 1.4 GHz Quad-core processor.

Does the Redmi 4A have Dual SIM support?

Yes, the Redmi 4A has dual SIM support. The 1st slot supports Micro SIM whereas the 2nd SIM slot is a hybrid slot. The 2nd SIM slot can be equipped with a Nano SIM or a MicroSD card.

Does it support VoLTE?

Yes, it supports VoLTE which means you can use JIO flawlessly on this device. It is supported on the first SIM slot.

How much is storage usable by the User?

Out of the 16GB provided, there is 10.42GB storage usable by the user.

Does it have a fingerprint sensor?

No, Xiaomi has decided not to put one on this budget range phone.

Yes, the Redmi 4A supports OTG.

No, there is no Assistant loaded already and it is only Google Now for now. And most of the phones that we have seen having 2GB RAM or lower have a problem in getting the Google Assistant installed. We will update if we see that Assistant is supported in the Redmi 4A.

Does it have an IR blaster?

Yes, Xiaomi has managed to put on this phone. Maybe the IR sensor is cheaper than the Fingerprint sensor, and the company gives a lot of importance to the IR blaster in most of its phones as it takes away the need to find a remote and a quick remote functionality on the phone is always good.

Does it support fast charging?

No, the Redmi 4A does not support Fast Charging. The power adapter provided in the box has an output of 5V at 1A.

Does it have a removable battery?

No, the battery on the Redmi 4A is non-removable.

The rear camera has Beauty mode, Manual mode, Panorama, and Night scene mode. The front has beauty and timer mode. The rear camera is capable of recording videos up to 1080p at 60fps.
