JioPhones running on KAI OS get WhatsApp, Youtube & Facebook app support

With the launch of the new JioPhone 2, Reliance has also announced a couple of new additions to the OS. The company has confirmed the support for new Social networking platform apps on its JioPhones. The new social media apps will launch on August 15th alongside the launch of the new JioPhone 2.

The KAI OS which runs on the JioPhone now has apps for social media platforms such as YouTube, Whatsapp, and Facebook. The OS first received the Facebook app in February this year. The new Facebook app comes with marginal improvements to make the experience on the phones even better.

At the annual AGM, Reliance Jio Founder Mukesh Ambani had announced that the company had sold around 25 million JioPhones till now and plans on reaching the 100 million target this year. Both the JioPhone and JioPhone 2 will get support for these social media apps.

  1. Good but still these social media are easy to access through smartphones because of touch keyboard and what about old buyers of this phones who doesn’t have these facilities when they bought it, thanks
